What is 3 Alarm?
The 3-alarm system is to provide multiple layers of protection and increase the chances of deterring theft attempts.
The 3 alarm triggers are:
- Tampering Alarm – If someone attempts to tamper with, cut or remove the tag without the proper detacher, the tag emits a loud, audible alarm.
- EAS Alarm – The tag will activate the store’s EAS system when exiting the store if someone tries to leave with the tagged item.
- Built-In Tag Alarm – Even if the tag is taken out of the store and removed from the EAS range, it can continue to sound an alarm on its own, making it inconvenient for thieves to take it home or use unauthorised removal tools.
